Zapdos is dual Electric- and Flying-type Legendary Pokémon available in 5-star Raids.
It is duoable under certain conditions and with the right counters, however a trio is easily accomplished with teams consisting of top Rock-, and Ice-type counters such as Rampardos, Rhyperior, Mamoswine, Galarian Darmanitan, and many more. For lower-level Trainers or Trainers lacking the proper counters we recommend raiding in larger groups (4-20) to take down this Shocking Bird.

ZAPDOS YOUTUBER CONTENT
Here’s a collection of YouTuber content focused on Zapdos Raids.
In these videos, you will find counters, short-man experiences, and tips & tricks to help you in your battles against the Electric Pokémon. Note that these videos are outdated, and CP and top counters will be different. We will update these videos once new content becomes available.
THUNDERSTRUCK
The Electric Bird is still a solid Electric-type Pokémon for PvE, but in order to perform at its best it needs Thunder Shock as Fast Move, which is a Legacy Move. You’ll have to use an Elite TM on it in order to obtain it. Same story for PvP, Thunder Shock or nothing! If you don’t have the Shiny, raiding for it seems the way to go. Keep up to date with the availability of Zapdos in Raids by checking out the Current Raid Boss List on our Homepage.
