Nidoking is a dual Poison- and Ground-type Pokémon available in 4-star Raids.

It’s duo-able for high-level Trainers with teams consisting of top Psychic-type counters such as Mewtwo, Alakazam, Latios, and Metagross. Lower-level Trainers or Trainers lacking proper counters should Raid in larger groups (3-20) to take out the King of the Nidos.

King Nido is Raid most Trainers can and will probably skip. It definitely has a place in PvP, and a level 20 Raid Nido is right there below the 1500 CP cap for Great League play, so if you want to add a Nido to your PvP squad, getting a raid or two in is one way to do so.
