Mega Gengar is a dual Ghost- and Poison-type Pokémon available in Mega Raids.
In perfect conditions, a 2-person Raid is possible for Trainers with teams consisting of high-level Dark-, Ghost- Ground- and Psychic-type counters such as Mewtwo, Mega Houndoom, Metagross, Origin Giratina, & Groudon. Lower level Trainers or Trainers lacking the proper counters for a 2-person attempt should raid in larger parties (3-20).
Note that after defeating Mega Gengar, you will get a chance at catching regular Gengar, NOT the Mega Form.

WHO YA'H GONNA CALL?
The Mega Evolution of Gengar is by far one of the coolest looking Megas in our opinion. Add that to the fact that, along with all the other Megas, it’s massively overpowered, and you have a winning combination. Keep up to date with the availability of Mega Gengar in Mega Raids by checking out the Current Raid Boss List on our Homepage.
