Excadrill is a dual Ground- and Steel-type Pokémon once available in 4-star Raids, and now in 3-star Raids.
It is solo-able for high-level Trainers with teams consisting of top Fighting-, Fire-, Ground-, and Water-type counters such as Moltres, Kyogre, Machamp, and Swampert. Lower-level Trainers or Trainers lacking proper counters should Raid in larger groups (2-20) to take out the Subterrene Pokémon.

In these videos, you will find counters, short-man experiences, and tips & tricks to help you in your battles against the Subterrene Pokémon.
THE COLD HARD TRUTH
A newcomer to the field, being one of the first Gen V Pokémon to get released. While not rare, many have yet to catch enough Drilbur to evolve an Excadrill. This Pokémon is pretty useful, and has lots of resistances.
It is currently the best Ground-type in the meta (this will change some with the release of Therian Forme Landorus) and the third-best Steel- type for PvE. For PvP like most heavy hitters, Driller is only useful in the Master League, but does have great utility in that League. It’s definitely worth raiding a few to save on Candy and get a better IV one. Keep up to date with the availability of Excadrill in Raids by checking out the Current Raid Boss List on our Homepage.
