Cobalion is a Generation 5, dual Steel- and Fighting-type Pokémon available in Five-star Raids.
It is duo-able for high-level Trainers with teams consisting of top Fighting-, Fire-, and Ground-type counters such as Mega Charizard Y & Z, Reshiram, Conkeldurr, and Lucario. Lower-level Trainers or Trainers lacking proper counters should Raid in larger groups (3-20) to take out the Iron Will Pokémon.

IRON FIST?
Cobalion honestly doesn’t appear to much more than Dex filler. As a Steel-type, it is outclassed by the likes of Dialga, Metagross, and numerous others. As a Fighting-type, due to the lack of a Fighting-type Fast Move and access to only Close Combat for a Charged Move, it lacks usefulness. Keep up to date with the availability of Cobalion in Raids by checking out the Current Raid Boss List on our Homepage.
