The Winter Weekend Event is upon us Trainers! This Saturday, December 28, 2019, from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. in your local time zone, The Winter Weekend Event will take place across the globe. Regice is back! Glacial Lures will last 2 hours. Glaceon can learn Last Resort! And, last but not least, 2 additional FREE raid passes! Let’s check out the details of the event:
Basic Event Info

| FEATURES: | Two-hour Glacial Lure Module duration: Glacial Lure Modules will last two hours for the duration of the event. Pokémon such as Lapras, Delibird, Cubchoo, and more will be drawn to Glacial Lure Modules during this time! | ||||
| Glaceon with Last Resort: Use a Glacial Lure Module to evolve Eevee during the event, and you’ll get a Glaceon that knows the Charged Attack Last Resort. | |||||
| Regice returns to raids! Did you miss out on catching a Regice the last time it was available in raids? This is your chance to catch the Iceberg Pokémon! | |||||
| Two additional Raid Passes: Receive up to two additional Raid Passes during the special event time period when you spin a Photo Disc at a Gym. These Raid Passes will not be available after the event period is over. You cannot hold more than one Raid Pass at once. | |||||

Winter Weekend Event Goals
With this weekend being sort of repetitive for most, we thought we’d encourage those not so excited Trainers with the following incentives so they could help others who might not have Regice, still need Last Resort Glaceon, and/or need of the Christmas event ice spawns:
MOAR SHINY: Who doesn’t love a Shiny Legendary? Sure, you may have 10…but just think of the trades you can make for what you need.
RARE CANDY: Since the Rare Candy nerf was reversed, time to store and hoard! Rare Candy is becoming almost as important as that dust these days with specific Pokémon.
SHARE THE WEALTH: There are multitudes of Trainers who have yet to obtain Regice, let alone its shiny variant. Let’s spend a little time, and a few free raid passes to help these new friends out.
EX-RAIDS: Use this time to try and trigger Ex-Raids in your area. Not only is this a win-win for your new friends to possibly get a pass, but that just means more Regiggity for you!
