Research Breakthroughs / Cobalion

As if everyone wasn’t already sugared up and hyper, Niantic dropped not one, but two tidbits of info this afternoon.

First, Niantic announced the first Generation 5: Unova Legendary Raid Boss would be coming to us starting November 4th. Cobalion is the choice. It’s a cool looking Pokémon, but, again, we get a month of a Dex filler Legendary, seeing as that is about all it’s good for.

Second, Niantic announced a Research Breakthrough shakeup for November and December. Articuno, Zapdos, Moltres, Kyogre, and Groudon (including their shiny variants) will be available as Research Breakthrough rewards for the next two months. Much excitement?
