Porygon Community Day Bonuses
This months’ bonuses include the coveted 3x Catch XP!
On Porygon Community Day, 3x Catch XP will be active for the whole 6-hour window! We recommend stocking up on Lucky Eggs, and be sure to set them, so you don’t forget them! (set the full day’s worth if you plan on playing that much.)

XP Tips & Tricks
- Stack your Field Research encounters and catch them during the CD window.
- Try to CATCH EVERYTHING, not only Porygon.
- Run a Lucky Egg for the full 6 hours.
3-HOUR INCENSE
Instead of Lure Modules, Incense will last for three hours during Porygon Community Day hours.
Make sure to activate your Incense after the event starts, otherwise, it will last for the regular 1 hour instead of 3 hours.
If you evolve your Porygon2 between 11:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. (local time), Porygon-Z will learn the Community Day Exclusive Move Tri Attack, a Normal-type Charge Attack!
Note: You’ll be able to obtain the Exclusive Move up to 2 hours after boosted spawns end.

Tri Attack PvE Analysis
Porygon-Z with Tri Attack in PvE is not that relevant. Tri Attack is extremely powerful, but, and this is a HUGE but, its Normal-type classification make it useless amongst pretty much everything. Normal-type moves are super-effective against nothing, and chances are you will have something in your arsenal that can our damage the neutral damage Tri Attack will dish out.

Snapshot Surprises
Make sure to bring your camera, Trainers. On Porygon Community Day, taking Snapshots might reward you with a surprise! If no changes have been made since Gastly CD, you’ll be photobombed by Porygon up to 5 times, and you might encounter a Shiny Porygon!
