GO Battle League Season 6

Trainers! Details for GO Battle League Season 6 have just been announced! Season 6 will have some major changes to the reward and ranking system, as well as new Cups and changes to Pokémon moves!

There will be an all-new ranking system that expands ranks from 10 to 24, with the top 4 ranks having their own names and badges! To go along with the new ranking system, the reward structure has also been reworked to give Trainers the chance to earn exclusive rewards through ranking up. These rewards will also be themed to whatever Season we are in.

Additionally, GO Battle League season will follow Seasons and will rotate every 3 months.

OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT

GBL SEASON 5 RECAP & REWARDS

Season 5 is coming to an end! Congratulations, if you reached rank 10 this season! In Season 5, we saw a new system of ranks, where only the number of wins mattered. While some veteran battlers may not have especially liked the system, it allowed for the more casual crowd to get involved in PvP and get to rank 10 if they put in the time.

What about the rewards? If you’ve reached rank 7 or higher, here’s what you can expect:

When Season 6 begins on Monday, November 30, 2020, at 1:00 p.m. PST (GMT −8), your end-of-season rewards for Season 5 will be available on the Battle screen, including an Elite Charged TM if you reached rank 7 or higher.

OUT WITH THE OLD IN THE WITH NEW

Season 5 brought a chance for Trainers who may not have been very involved with GO Battle League to get involved, and finished the season at a high rank.
