Trainers on Reddit from New Zealand have confirmed that the next Legendary Bird available to us in shadow form after defeating Giovanni will be none other than the Electric Pokémon, Zapdos!
Early reports indicate that the first to stages of the Giovanni Boss Battle remain unchanged from last month, with him leading with Persian, and then one of the trio of Rhydon, Hippowdown, and Dugtrio, before finally battling Zapdos.
Lets take a look at how to take down this month’s version of the Giovanni Boss Battle!

Persian is only weak to Fighting-types. You know what that means? Yup! Lucario time again! Machamp and Toxicroak are also viable.

Rhydon is double weak to Grass- and Water-types. With those weaknesses in mind here our top 3 counters: Swampert, Meganium, and Kyogre.

DUGTRIO | ||

Dugtrio, like Hippowdon is weak to Grass-, Ice-, and Water-types. This means we recommend the same 3 counters as well: Swampert, Kyogre, and Feraligatr.

MOLTRES NEXT?
We got Artic(uno) first, now Zap(dos) second, it would only make sense that we would get Mol(tres) third. Uno, dos, and tres. Is this written in stone? Nope, but for now this is our somewhat educated guess as to what we will get in January.
