The Evolution Event in itself is an amazing event, but, as if that wasn’t enough, we also get an Evolution Event Raid Day. This Raid Day will take place on Saturday, December 7, 2019, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. (local time).
Pokémon featured in Raids will be Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle, Ivysaur, Charmeleon, Wartortle, Venusaur, Charizard, and Blastoise. Oh, and every single one of those can possibly be SHINY!

SOMETHING TO KEEP IN MIND
December Community Day is coming up, and you will able to evolve Venusaur, Charizard, and Blastoise then AND get the Exclusive Community Day Moves for them (Frenzy Plant, Blast Burn, and Hydro Cannon).
With that in mind, it might behoove you to Raid the second stage evolutions, Ivysaur, Charmeleon, and Wartortle, more than their final evolutions. It is counter-intuitive, perhaps, but you REALLY want those CD Moves.
