Well, Trainers, Darkrai is set to make another appearance in 5-star Raids this weekend. That’s right, you will have another chance at the Pitch-Black Pokémon and this time it can be Shiny!
Now, this is a Raid Boss that everyone will love coming back! Great in PvE? Check. Great in PvP? Check. The debut of its Shiny variant? Check. Let’s check out the details of the weekend:

Darkrai Raid Weekend Goals
With this weekend being sort of repetitive for most, we thought we’d encourage those not so excited Trainers with the following incentives so they could help others who might not have this Legendary Pokémon:
MOAR SHINY: Who doesn’t love a Shiny Legendary? For one, you don’t have this one.
RARE CANDY: Since the Rare Candy nerf was reversed, time to store and hoard! Rare Candy is becoming almost as important as that dust these days with specific Pokémon.
GIVING BACK: It’s always a good to time give back to the community! There are multitudes of Trainers who have yet to obtain this Legendary. Let’s spend some time, and a few free raid passes to help these new friends out.
EX-RAIDS: Use this time to try and trigger Ex-Raids in your area. Not only is this a win-win for your new friends to possibly get a pass, but that just means more Regiggity for you!
Darkrai in GBL
It is important to note that Darkrai will be appearing as a reward in GO Battle League for those lucky enough to encounter it during this same time period. Not only that, but, its shiny variant may also appear!
