OrangeHeart – Creator Bio

G2G: First, can you tell me your in-game Trainer name, level, and your favorite Pokémon? Is there a reason it’s your favorite? Also, what do you do in your daily life?

OrangeHeart: My name is Ray; I’m TL40, my favorite Pokémon is Rayquaza… well.. just because it’s Ray. Daily life is designing brochures, restaurant menus, business cards, etc… and then, of course, the infographics for Pokémon GO, and Harry Potter: Wizards Unite.

G2G: What got you into Pokémon/Pokémon GO? Were you into Pokémon before GO was released? What do you like the most about Pokémon in general? Do you have a favorite feature in PoGO?

OrangeHeart: I got into Pokémon GO because of my little nephew wanting to go outside to play, but couldn’t go alone, and then I was hooked. I wasn’t really INTO Pokémon, but I knew quite a lot about it because my brother used to watch the series day-in-day-out. I always look forward to the next Special Research and of course hunting for hundos and shinies. I really appreciate how the series pushed kids always to work hard to achieve something in life.

G2G: What made you start on Pokémon GO focused graphics? Was it just something you wanted to do, or is there more to it?

OrangeHeart: The reason I started Pokémon GO focused graphics is because of a friend who told me my creativity was inspiring, so I thought to give it a go! I’d say it worked out well and I’m grateful for each and every one of my followers.

Another thing is, I always try to be as clear as can be, explain what needs to be explained and make players enthusiastic about the content of the graphic (say an upcoming event).

G2G: What keeps you driven? What are your future goals? Do you have other plans, maybe apart from PoGO?

OrangeHeart: My favorite features of PoGO are completing my Pokédex and Shiny Hunting. I’ve tried PvP and TGR and just haven’t found myself as hooked as I am on the other two things.

As for my personal goals, I’m constantly pushing myself to get better. I like challenging myself to improve over and over. I want to continue to make graphics that are informative, helpful, beautiful, and useful to Trainers around the world.

Other plans; I’m currently working on Harry Potter graphics as well, which is a nice change of pace back and forth between the two. Be sure to check them out and follow my Orange Wizard account.

G2G: Is there anything else you guys want to share?

OrangeHeart: Keeping the Community, surrounding PoGO, positive for any of us to succeed and make this a sustainable atmosphere is a must!

Pointing out flaws, constant complaints, and bickering won’t change anything. Finding solutions and working together will!

I implore everyone to make at least one positive gesture in their communities this year and see how far it can spread!
